In this tutorial I will show you and explain everything about the WordPress search and replace future that SiteGround hosting offers.

it’s also helpful if you for example if you use the migrator to transfer your WordPress website to another domain and with the Search and Replace option you could also replace the name of the website very easily by using this function.

Select the SiteGround Search & Replace options in the Site Tools panel

You can find this feature within your Site Tools panel, so the first thing that you have to do is logging into your Site Tools panel.

Now you have to go to the WordPress settings at the bottom of the drop down menu to the search and replace and click on it.

Go To Site Tools panel and select Search & Replace

Select the SiteGround Search & Replace options in the Site Tools panel

Now you will see the Search and Replace tool which you can use  to easily change strings in your WordPress site in bulk.

For example you can change your domain name or whatever. The only thing you have to do is select domain in the menu and then you can enter a domain name and then you can replace it with another domain.

After you click on Search and Replace it will automatically be handled by SiteGround in a couple of seconds.

It’s also mentioned that you need to make sure to have a backup for your website so if anything might go wrong then you also have a backup available.
