How to manage automatic update settings for plugins in WordPress

in another tutorial I also have explained how to manage the auto update settings from within the SiteGround dashboard.

But let’s say you have a website with several plugins or themes, and you want to manage the automatic updates individually then you need to set that up in the WordPress dashboard for the website.

As you can see for this site I will use for this example, only these two plugins are installed. I you want to enable the auto updates for the Siteground Optimizer plugin for example then I can click on it.

Now you can see that the status has changed. This way you can decided for which plugins you want to activate the automatic updates.

How to manage automatic update settings for themes in WordPress

You can also do this for your Themes. Therefore, you need to go to Appearance in menu and click on the Themes option.

By default, these three themes are already installed. If you click on a theme with your left mouse button, then a new window will be opened and over here you have the option to enable or disable the auto updates.
