Screenshot of Entire Screen Key Combination

To capture your entire screen in a screenshot, you’ll want to press a simple key combination. It’s a quick and straightforward process. Here’s what you need to do, simultaneously press the keys: Shift + Command + 3.

Viewing Your Screenshot

Now, let’s take a look at your desktop. The screenshots will appear as files on your desktop. In my case, you can see three images. This is because I currently have three monitors active. If you have just one active monitor, you’ll see one screenshot. If you’re using two monitors, say your laptop and an external display, you’ll see two screenshots – one for each monitor.
