In this tutorial I want to show you how you can hide sections, columns or widgets by device type with the Elementor Pagebuilder plugin for WordPress.
This will give you a lot of choices to do completely manage how you want your website to be displayed on every single device type.
Hide Section, column or widget responsive settings by device type with Elementor
To make it clearer, let me give you an example for this heading widget. But you can do this for every section, column or widget and it works the same way.
So first I select this heading widget and go over to the Advanced tab.
Now scroll down to the responsive settings options.
If you click on it, you will see three options available. The first one is hide on desktop, then you have hide on tablet and you have hide on mobile.
By default, none of these options is selected so that means that this widget is displayed on all the device types
But let’s say if you don’t want to display this text on the tablet view then I can select this option hide on tablet.
If I now go to the table view you can see it’s transparent because the hide option is selected.
But if I view the page as a regular visitor, you can see that the text is not being displayed.
If you disable the hide option again then you can see it’s not transparent anymore.
