How to export WordPress website as file with All-in-one WP migration plugin
It’s very easy to do so for this tutorial I will use this this subdomain as an example. I’m going to upload another website to this domain.
The subdomain has just been created and if I go to Plugins, you can see that only these two plugins that are installed by default by SiteGround.

To export and upload a website as an file we need to add a new plugin.
Therefore, go to Add new and search for the plugin called all-in-one WP migration.
The plugin is created by Servemask and you need to click on the install now button and activate it.

Now you can see that the plugin has been activated. In the left menu in the WordPress dashboard, you can see that the all-in-one WP migration option has been added. Hover over the option in the menu and click on Export.

You have a lot of different options on how to export your website but in this case I’ll go for the File type so I’ll click on it.

Now you see that the plugin is preparing to export and after that’s done you can see that a button appears to download the file. Click on it to download the complete website as a file.
In this case the file size is very small because I don’t have edit any pages or post yet so if you add more content to your website logically the file size will increase.
