Design Landingpage with Elementor for WordPress Website

In this tutorial I want to show you how you can design a landing page with Elementor. I will also explain how you can display or hide the header and footer with Elementor for your WordPress pages or posts.

Create Landingpage in WordPress with Elementor

First you need to log in into the WordPress dashboard. If you want to create a new page you need to click on pages in the left menu and then select Add New.

Now you see this screen has been loaded and over here you can select the title for your landing page. After you have entered the title you can click on the edit with Elementor button.

Now you can see that the header and the footer are visible and you can also see that this title that we’ve just entered is also displayed on the canvas.

Select Elementor Canvas Template

To make this a completely blank canvas is we need to go over to this option over here in the left corner. Over here you can see the page layout option and now it’s it has been set to default.

But if you want you can also set it to Elementor canvas, then the page will be completely blank. So, select this option:

After page has been loaded you can see that the canvas is now completely empty so there is no header and no footer being displayed. Also, the page title is not visible anymore.

If you want to you can now just build up everything from scratch by using the widgets over here in the Elementor editor menu. In other tutorials I have explained everything you need to know about that.
