In this tutorial I’ll show you how to log in WordPress websites in two different ways.
The first way is when you have a SiteGround hosting account and this is the way that I often use because it’s very easy especially if you have multiple websites hosted at the same SiteGround hosting plan. In that case you can very easily log in into every website without in a few clicks.

Log in to WordPress dashboard in SiteGround
The first you have to do is log in into your SiteGround account and then you have to click on Websites over in the menu on top of the page.
Next thing to do is select the website that you want to log in to.
Over here you need to select the Site Tools button

Now you must go over to the WordPress option and click on it, and then you can click on the first option which is Install and manage.
Now you can click on the small icon and if you hover over it you can see Log into admin panel. If you click on it then automatically a new tab will open up and you will be directly into the WordPress dashboard for the website.

If you have multiple websites, you can change very easily by clicking on this change button then every other website that you have added into your site ground account will be displayed over here you can click on it and that will bring you automatically to the site to panel for that specific website.

Then you only have to click the icon to log in into that WordPress dashboard for that specific website. Then you don’t have to enter all the passwords for every site that you have created. Instead you only have to log in your SiteGround account and then you have access to the WordPress dashboard of all the websites registered account.
So the way I have just explained is suitable if you have multiple websites hosted at your SiteGround account.
Log in to WordPress dashboard general way
Now let me show you the general way to log in into your WordPress dashboard for a specific website. This works the same for every WordPress website and it doesn’t matter where it’s hosted at.
You just enter to the regular URL of your website in your browser followed by /wp-admin
So, for my website it would be https://websitelearninglab.com/wp-admin
Now you will a page where you can fill in the username or the e-mail address and the specific password for the WordPress site you want to log in to.

In another tutorial I have also explained how you can change this default login URL to something else. So instead of wp-admin you can change it to anything you want. You can check out the tutorial to learn how to change the login URL over here.
I have also made I video where I explain how you can protect your website from brute force attacks. Then a limit will be set to prevent that hackers can try different log in attempts over and over again. Instead the IP adres will be blocked after several false attemps. That’s also recommed to do for safety measures.
Check out this tutorial were I show you three free WordPress plugins to provide better security for your website.
In the video tutorial I will explain everything in more detail and you can watch it on YouTube over here.
